Dr. Lea Hachigian is Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Operations at Longwood-founded Newleos Therapeutics. She also serves as Venture Partner at Longwood Fund. Previously, Dr. Hachigian was Co-Founder and Vice President, Strategy and Business Development at Be Biopharma. She has previously served as Co-Founder and President of Longwood-founded Immunitas Therapeutics and Longwood-Founded TScan Therapeutics (NASDAQ: TCRX). She received her PhD from MIT in molecular and cellular neuroscience where she was a NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Prior to her doctorate, Lea received an AB from Harvard University where she graduated magna cum laude with high honors in Neurobiology and received a certificate in Mind Brain and Behavior. Dr. Hachigian has received numerous fellowships for her research and multiple teaching awards for her work with both undergraduate and graduate students. She has also been repeatedly recognized for her contributions to the biotechnology industry, including as member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for healthcare, one of the top 25 women leaders in biotechnology (The Healthcare Technology Report), and a biotech power player (Business Insider).
